Mourinho damaged Spanish football – Iniesta

Andres Iniesta says that Jose Mourinho damaged the Spanish game during his time as Real Madrid coach.

Iniesta summed up the mood of Spain with his words, effectively saying ‘good riddance’ to Mourinho, who was reviled in the country as he is in most places apart from his native Portuguese and in England.

“You just have to look at the facts,” Iniesta told El Pais. “Yes, he damaged Spanish football, in general more harm than good. But I don’t like talking about that person at all. So if you don’t mind we’ll leave it at that.”
