Mourinho wants Liverpool job

Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho wants to succeed Rafa Benitez as Liverpool manager, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Mourinho has contacted Liverpool’s American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett through a third party and told them he would love to take over at the club next season.

Mourinho’s compensation deal with Chelsea last September says he can not return to a Premier League club this season.
