Napoli star signs new deal

Colombia international right-back Camilo Zuniga has signed a four-year contract extension with the Italian side.

Zuniga’s previous deal was set to expire next summer. The new deal will see Zuniga earn around 3.5million euros per season.

“I have always believed in Camilo and he has always believed in Napoli,” club president Aurelio De Laurentiis said on the club’s official website.

“The wages are those that he deserves.

“In the past few years he has worked with humility and in silence and he deserved a recognition.”

“I want to thank the president for the trust placed in me and I thank the fans for their affection,” Zuniga said.

“I am happy at Napoli and I want to end my career in the Azzurro colours.”
