Chiellini wants Juventus captaincy

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has admitted that he one time would like to get the captaincy at the club.

Chiellini extended his contract with the Old Lady in the summer.

"Juventus are inside men and after [Alessandro] Del Piero and [Gianluigi] Buffon, I want to be the captain," Chiellini told Juventus Channel.

"Many things have signalled my destiny. I feel like a Juventino and I had the fortune to play for the old Juve during the 2004/05 season.

"Lots of changes happened and we had to start from zero but I stayed here with the players who made history and now I feel like I am a part of Juve deep down inside."
