Perrotta and Pizarro sign new deals

Roma duo Simone Perrotta and David Pizarro have signed new deal with the club.

The pair had been linked with a move to Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg, where former Roma coach Luciano Spalletti is reportedly set to take charge.

Perrotta has signed a one-year extension that will keep him at the club until 2011, while Pizarro has signed a three-year deal.

A statement from the club read: "AS Roma and Simone Perrotta have reached an agreement to extend the player's contract until June 30, 2011.

"The player will receive 3.1million euros for the 2010-11 campaign, besides the extras upon reaching the aims fixed for that season."
