Spurs star still believes in top four finish

Tottenham defender Sebastien Bassong believes they can still manage a top four finish this season.

Bassong, who is set to be out for up to five weeks with a hamstring injury, has refused to give up on his Champions League dream, despite suffering a 3-0 derby defeat at Arsenal on Saturday.

He said: "We have big quality in the squad and if we improve and work hard we can take a top four position.

"We need to keep working every day because that game on Saturday showed you can never stop at that level.

"If you don't work, you are going to be disappointed again and again. To be in the top four, we need more."

Bassong, like Keane, needs to stop waffling. Play like you did against Arsenal and Stoke your target this season will be staying in the premiership
