Roma coach admits to luck

Roma coach Claudio Ranieri admits they were lucky to get a win against Fiorentina on Sunday.

Roma managed to beat Fiorentina 1-0, thanks to a late goal from Mirko Vucinic.

"I understand that the media want to find a rival for Inter on the ladder, but they are too strong," Ranieri told Datasport.

"I want to give my compliments to Fiorentina, because no side has attacked as much as they did against us.

"We knew that this was not going to be an easy match because Fiorentina wanted to win. They were full of energy, and put us in danger on a number of occasions.

"Deep down, we knew that we could win. A little bit of luck also helped us, but the important thing is that we won."
