Evra hails Man Utd team-mate

Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has heaped praise on team-mate Wayne Rooney.

Rooney bagged a brace in United's 3-2 win over AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.

"I am very happy for him because every time he plays, he respects the shirt," Evra told Sky Sports News.

"He is a world-class player and I hope he stays like this because we want to win the second leg and we are also focused on the league.

"Wayne is Wayne Rooney now, he is more mature now, he has learnt a lot and now he wants to score, he has the hunger to score, not just to press the ball but to score and now he is a goalscorer."
