Ronaldinho's brother and agent confirmed that the striker is keen on World Cup action.

Brazil coach Dunga did not call up the former World Player of the year for the friendly against the Republic of Ireland last week.

Roberto De Assis told SporTV: "Like all Brazilians know, I am supporting Ronaldinho because he can participate in another World Cup.

"He is working well in anticipation of receiving a call up.

"Every athlete at this level thinks about this opportunity. In Ronie's life, his dream has always been that of wearing the Brazil shirt."
