Napoli put together €40m war chest

Italian side Napoli are reportedly ready to spend €40million on new players this summer.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is ready to invest further in the squad in a bid to fight for the title next season.

De Laurentiis is ready to make €40million available to director of sport Riccardo Bigon, should Napoli manage to qualify for next year's Champions League.

Napoli have recently been linked with the likes of Udinese's Gokhan Inler, Liverpool's Lucas Leiva, Villarreal star Borjan Valero and Atletico Madrid ace Ruben Perez.
