Dickov impressed by Man City squad

Paul Dickov has hailed Manchester City's squad as too good for the rest of the teams.

Dickov believes his former club will win silverware at the end of the season.

He told TalkSport: "I thought Arsenal were possibly the better team last night against Man City.

"But when you look at the size of the squad, they are able to change things. Man City can put out a team that will go out there and beat any team in the league, no matter what competition it’s in."

"With the players they’ve got, and no matter who plays ,they are always going to score," the ex-Scotland continued.

"When Roberto [Mancini] first went in there people were talking about his Italian style and how defensive he was, and 18 months ago they weren’t scoring the goals they should [have been] and they were a bit negative.

"He’s gone in there, stripped them down to the basics, got them defending properly so that now when anyone goes into the defence, they look solid. They believe they will score every game."
