Everton star set to join Spartak Moscow

Russian side Spartak Moscow are set to complete the signing of winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov from Everton.

The Russian side have confirmed they have agreed a deal with Everton and the winger is now set to undergo a medical ahead of completing a return to his homeland.

A statement on the club's website read: "Spartak have reached an agreement in principle with the English [club] Everton and 26-year-old midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov for a transfer to our club.

"The contract will be signed after the medical examination."

Bilyaletdinov has failed to make the expected impact at Everton since joining the club in a 9million deal from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2009.
