Pearce keen on Portsmouth stay
Portsmouth defender Jason Pearce insists he wants to stay at the Championship side.
But Pearce admits his future is out of his hands.
Portsmouth are struggling with financial problems and could be forced to cash in on the 24-year-old defender.
"It is all out of my hands, all I can do is give 100 per cent for the club," said Pearce.
"I love the club and everyone knows that. I want to stay but who knows what will happen.
"It is nice to be talked about and wanted but I have to just get on with my job. I'm a Portsmouth player and that is all that matters."
Portsmouth boss Michael Appleton said: "If people make bids for our players we have to listen as we have a big bill to pay on February 20.
"I had one conversation with Paul Jewell two weeks ago after their initial bid for Pearce and Ward.
"It wasn't acceptable and I have spoken to no one from Ipswich since.
"I keep hearing about second and third bids but until Ipswich tell me they are interested I will carry on working with my players."
