Wilshere aims to make Nasri eat humble pie

Jack Wilshere has said Samir Nasri may regret gloating about winning the league with Man City.

Nasri left Arsenal for Man City at the start of the season, a move that appeared motivated by money to most observers, and took the chance to launch an unsavoury attack on Arsenal after his team won the league.

Wilshere, speaking to Talksport, said: "Fair play to him, he's won a trophy but over the next couple of years that's our goal – to win a trophy. I can really see Arsenal winning a trophy, so maybe he spoke too soon and we can rub it in his face next year."
