Real Madrid star could return to River Plate
Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Higuain has hinted that he could return to his former club River Plate.The 24-year-old scored 15 goals in 35 league appearances for River Plate between 2004 and 2006.
Higuain has admitted that he is missing life in Argentina.
"I had a short stint at River and it would be rewarding to return," he told ESPN.
"I like Argentina. In Spain, there are pretty girls, but I prefer Argentine customs."
