Corinthians get first win of Brazilian championship
Corinthians won their first game of the Brazilian Championship last night against Palmeiras.They clinched a 2-1 win over their Sao Paulo rivals to move off the bottom of the league.
The league champions had not won in their first five games of the campaign, concentrating instead on the Copa Libertadores, where they will face Boca Juniors in the first leg this week.
