Former Spurs and West Ham striker linked with China move

Former West Ham and Tottenham striker Frederic Kanoute is being linked with a move to China.

Kanoute has left Spanish side Sevilla after having spent seven seasons and scoring 135 goals for the club.

The 34-year-old held talks with Beijin Guoan last week.

He said: "I went to China to discuss an offer I have got from the Chinese club. I am delighted with what I heard.

"However, I have a lot of offers on the table at the moment and fingers crossed I will make the right choice."

But Kanoute has also revealed that he could even decide to play in the United States or Middle East next season.

Kanoute added: "My career is not finished yet, I can still play at the top level. I am looking forward to next season either in the Middle East or China or the United States."
