West Ham chasing Sporting Gijon defender
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is reportedly keen on signing Sporting Gijon centre back Alberto Botia.The Daily Mail reports that Allardyce is looking to boost his defensive options this summer.
The Hammers released Abdoulaye Faye at the end of the season and are looking to bring in a new centre-back.
Botia joined Sporting Gijon from Barcelona in 2010.
