Nicollin unable to stop Giroud move
Montpellier owner Louis Nicollin has said he could have done little to stop Arsenal sign Olivier Giroud.Giroud, the top scorer in Ligue 1 last season, completed his move to Arsenal this week.
"Regarding Giroud, there was a clause of €12M", Nicollin told French radio station RMC.
"He was sold at that price. He wanted to go there, he went there – it’s settled."
