Spurs star to miss Olympics
Tottenham winger Gareth Bale will not be able to feature for Team GB's football side at the Olympics.The 22-year-old was set to be named in Team GB manager Stuart Pearce's 18-man squad on Monday.
But the Welshman has been forced to withdraw after aggravating a back injury in training.
Bale, who signed a new four-year contract with Spurs on Wednesday, could also miss the Premier League season opener against Newcastle United on 12 August.
