The 22-year-old's current contract with Santos expires in February 2015.

Ganso has recently been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan.

"I didn't like the offer, I thought they would offer something better," he told reporters.

"Regardless of that, you have to keep your cool to play football and let things happen naturally.

"I don't know what can happen, only God knows it. I hope I can remain calm to keep playing football."
