Ferrara appointed Sampdoria coach
Ciro Ferrara has become the new coach at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.Ferrara leaves his post with the Italy under 21 team to take up the role with Sampdoria.
He replaces Giuseppe Iachini as coach of the newly promoted Serie A club.
A statement from Sampdoria said: "Ciro Ferrara will be the new coach of Sampdoria. The agreement with the new Partenopeo tactician will be ratified in the next few days."
