Benfica ponder move for Man Utd star

Portuguese giants Benfica are considering making a move for Manchester United midfielder Anderson.

Portuguese newspaper Record reports that Benfica boss Jorge Jesus isk een to bring in Anderson as a replacement for Axel Witsel.

Belgium international Witsel has recently been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.

Anderson has been struggling with injuries and loss of form in recent seasons at Old Trafford.

The midfielder made just eight Premier League starts for United last season.
