The Dutch forward shocked Arsenal last month by refusing to sign a new contract and is being chased by Manchesters United, City and Juventus.

"For me, Van Persie is one of the best strikers in the world, if not the best, and my desire is to keep him at the club." Wenger told Arsenal Player.
