De Jong way of Bundesliga challenge

Luuk de Jong has admitted he faces a tough challenge to match the goalscoring exploits of Marco Reus at Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Reus was superb last season for Borussia as they won a Champions League spot, but left for champions Borussia Dortmund.

"It is definitely harder to score in Germany", De Jong told Bild.

"In Holland, there is a certain level, the Bundesliga is a very strong competition", he added.

"Also, in the Bundesliga every game is a big game.

"Marco Reus scored 18 goals last season. I also want to score a similar amount, but it is going to be difficult because it is my first season."
