Spanish newspaper Sport reports that Barcelona are ready to make a £11.7million move for the midfielder.

Barcelona are desperate to sign a new midfielder before the start of next season, after allowing Seydou Keita to leave earlier this summer.

Song's current contract with Arsenal is set to expire in the summer of 2014.

Barcelona have also been strongly linked with a move for Athletic Bilbao star Javi Martinez.
