Gomez injury concern for Bayern
Bayern Munich are facing starting the new season without Mario Gomez.Gomez was the club's top scorer last season and could be out for a while with an ankle problem.
"He's not in good shape. He needs surgery," Bayern's sporting director Matthias Sammer told the club's website.
