Man Utd and Man City set for Athletic Bilbao stay

Manchester United and Manchester City target Javi Martinez is keen to stay with Athletic Bilbao.

The Spain international has long been linked with a big-money move away from Bilbao, but his agent insists the midfielder is set to remain at the club beyond the summer.

"Javi Martinez wants to stay at Athletic Bilbao and the club would only sell for €40 million euros," Martinez's agent Tomas Sanz said.

The 23-year-old has recently been linked with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

Martinez's current contract with Athletic Bilbao is set to expire in the summer of 2016.
