Gustavo has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich, following Javi Martinez's arrival at the Allianz Arena.

"Luiz Gustavo will stay on, this is a fact," Sammer told Sport BILD.

Gustavo said: "I feel great being a Bayern Munich player. I absolutely enjoy it.

"I really did not think about leaving the club at any second."

Gustavo has just under three years left on his current contract with Bayern Munich.
