Bendtner has often attracted criticism for his high opinion of himself but showed an unusual modesty when arriving in Italy.

"My first sensations are that I am at the best club in the whole of Italy,” the Danish striker told Juve's official website.

“The move has come at the right time in my career, I have already played against many teams from Serie A and they have always been very tactical.

“I will bring enthusiasm, lots of willingness and a big heart. I want to bring a lot on the field and not talk out of line as I have done in the past."
