The full-back has signed a four-year contract with the big-spending French club.

A statement on PSG's official website read: "Gregory Van Der Wiel, 24 years old, an international player from Holland, has been transferred from Ajax by Paris Saint-Germain, for a duration of four years."

The 24-year-old has long been linked with Premier League sides Chelsea and Arsenal.
