Giroud wins Wenger backing
Olivier Giroud will come good at Arsenal, insists manager Arsene Wenger.
Giroud has missed a couple of golden chances during his brief time at Arsenal so far, and more pressure is on him after new boys Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla scored their first goals for the club at the weekend.
"I am confident about him," Wenger said. "Giroud is in an adaptation period. He has shown he is ready for a fight and I am sure he will adapt to the intensity of an English striker."
