Reports have recently linked the former Manchester United star with a move away from Real Madrid.

But Roberto Carlos has admitted he does not expect to sign Ronaldo.

"Lots of people have asked me that," Carlos told AS when asked about signing Ronaldo.

"We haven't come to sign Cristiano. We are, however, thinking about signing some quality players for next season.

"Cristiano shouldn't worry, people like him a lot. Problems can be resolved."
