Andersen expects Portsmouth stay

Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen has revealed he expects to stay at Portsmouth beyond his current deal.

Andersen's loan deal at Portsmouth expires next week, but the Danish keeper believes it will be extended.

He told bold.dk: "I am counting on the deal being extended. I am very, very happy here.

"Even though Portsmouth are playing in League One it is still a huge club. There is a healthy mentality here and the fans are amazing.

"No matter where we play the fans will always be behind us. The home ground is almost always packed and sometimes when we play away from home the support is so great that it feels like a home game.

"Portsmouth worked hard to get me and Reading were willing to help me. So I am certain that I will get to stay here and hopefully I will continue to play regularly."
