Spartak Moscow star keen on Premier League move

Spartak Moscow star Aiden McGeady's agent has revealed that his client would be interested in a move to the Premier League.

McGeady left Scottish side Celtic to join Spartak two years ago.

The 26-year-old has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with the likes of Aston Villa and Sunderland reportedly interested in the winger.

"There has been interest in Aiden from English clubs going right back to when he played for Celtic, so it's nothing new," said McGeady's agent Jan Dreyer in the Daily Record.

"Now Aiden is doing well in the Russian Premier League and is about to play in the Champions League, so that will only add to interest in him.

"If Spartak received a serious offer, Aiden would definitely consider it."
