Arsenal keeping tabs on Fulham star

Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Norwegian defender Brede Hangelandīs situation at Fulham.

Fulham boss Martin Jol is keen for the defender to sign a new deal with the Cottagers, but a new deal is reportedly not close to completion.

"That will take a bit longer because we don't talk to him every day but there will be another appointment as we try to keep him here for the long term," said Jol.

"If that is not possible then we will try to keep him for the next two years."

Hangeland has long been linked with a move away from Fulham.
