Leo Messi has broken Gerd Muller's record for goals scored in a single calendar year.Messi broke the record against Real Betis last night, scoring twice within 25 minutes to give Barcelona a 2-0 lead.
That also meant he has now scored 86 goals this calendar year, and underlines the remarkable talent of the Argentine superstar.
