Saviola warns Malaga of Porto threat

Javier Saviola has told his Malaga team mates that they have a tough test to prepare for in the Champions League against Porto.

Saviola knows the Portuguese side well from his time in the country with Benfica.

“Porto will be a complicated and tough opponent,” he told AS. “I played against them during my time at Benfica and I know how good they are.

“When we travel to their place, it is going to be very difficult to win – they are a very physical side and know when the right time is to play football.

“It's going to be hard to get through.

“On an individual level they have had some fantastic players in recent history – Falcao, Lucho Gonzalez. But now there are other players that are maintaining that quality and that level of play.”
