Pato set to complete Corinthians switch

Alexandre Pato is set to complete his transfer to Corinthians, according to his agent.

The player has been on the brink of a return to his homeland for a couple of weeks now.

Gilmar Veloz told Lancenet!: “We have chosen Corinthians. Milan have understood it’s time to try a new experience elsewhere.”

“Right from the start when we decided to return to Brazil, Pato and I chose Corinthians. If all goes well, then it’ll be something we have planned for some time. We spoke with Adriano Galliani and he understood our reasons.

“Milan have understood it’s time for Pato to try a new experience elsewhere. Corinthians are doing everything possible to make the deal go through.

“There are still a few details to sort out between the two clubs, but it is not up to me to say what those are.”
