Gago insists he has no plans to leave

Fernando Gago has said that he has no plans to leave Valencia in the near future.

Gago, who signed for Los Che in the summer, was reportedly subject of a bid from Boca Juniors and keen to move back to Argentina.

“I’m very calm. I have always said that I respect the club that I am at and I have never said that I wanted to go, I did not tell the President or the Coach or [sporting director] Braulio [Vazquez] that,” he told Valencia's television channel.

“Much has been invented, but I am at peace here. Valencia has said nothing to me about having had an offer for me.

“I have not spoken to anyone, but if there are clubs that are interested in me then I am happy, because it means that I am doing things right."
