Mali and Ghana through to last eight
Mali and Ghana both progressed to the last eight of the African Cup of Nations on Monday night.Ghana overcame Niger 3-0 to comfortably secure their passage as group winners to face Cape Verde in the last eight.
Mali fought back to draw 1-1 with DR Congo to ensure their place and a meeting with hosts South Africa in the quarter finals.
