Guardiola arrival puts us on a par with Spanish giants - Ribery

Franck Ribery has said that the arrival this summer of Pep Guardiola as Bayern Munich coach shows that the club are on the same level as Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Guardiola will take over from Jupp Heynckes this summer, after the former Barcelona coach completes his year off.

“Guardiola is Guardiola. His arrival shows that Bayern are not just any other club,” the 29-year-old told L’Equipe this week.

“If you can sign Guardiola then you are at the top level. Bayern is one of the three best clubs in the world, along with Madrid and Barca."
