Pirlo loss a mistake - Berlusconi

AC Milan should not have let Andrea Pirlo leave for Juventus, admits club supremo Silvio Berlusconi.

The Rossoneri allowed Pirlo to leave for Juve on a free transfer in the summer of 2011, but the player has excelled since, prompting Berlusconi to set his sights on signing the player considered his heir.

“I shouldn’t have left Pirlo go,” Berlusconi told Sport Mediaset. “But we now have Riccardo Montolivo. With regards to the future, we’re interested in Marco Verratti.”
