Copa del Rey final could have been at Camp Nou - Freixa

Toni Freixa, a member of the Barcelona board, has said the Copa del Rey final between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid could have taken place at the Camp Nou.

The match will take place at the Bernabeu, but Freixa says Barca would have allowed the game to take place at theirs.

If they had asked, we would have accepted, he told Cadena Cope. I, at least, would have said yes.

We would not go to such a low level that we would not let a rival play at our stadium," Freixa added, alluding to last season when Real Madrid refused to contemplate letting Barcelona face Athletic Bilbao at the Bernabeu.
