Paris St Germain can beat Barcelona - Wenger

Arsene Wenger believes that Paris St Germain are capable of springing an upset against Barcelona tonight.

The Arsenal coach says that the Parisians can exploit the weaknesses in the Barcelona rearguard if they defend well themselves.

“If Celtic and Milan have won against Barcelona then everything is possible for a team like Paris Saint-Germain. And Barcelona are not invincible,” Wenger wrote in Eurosport.

“It is clear that Barca have the best technical quality. But they have also lost something along the way. They are now vulnerable at the back and I know that PSG have enough offensive potential to exploit this vulnerability that, for example, did not exist in seasons before.

“They must avoid Messi as much as possible because the Argentine is involved in around 60-70 per cent of Barcelona’s goals.”
