Atletico to hold Negredo talks

Atletico Madrid are to hold talks with Sevilla over the availability of Alvaro Negredo this summer.

Sevilla are looking to sell the player to raise money, whilst Atletico will probably want to replace Radamel Falcao this summer.

“It is my duty to stay informed of the market,” Atletico chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin told ABC.

“It may be that Radamel Falcao goes if a significant offer comes in, so I have to take advice, ask questions and talk with other leaders.

“And yes, I have spoken with Jose Maria. I told him that we could let go of Falcao and that we were thinking towards Negredo. We have agreed to talk at the end of the season."
