Neymar will work well with Messi - Pique

Gerard Pique believes Neymar will prove to be an excellent signing for Barcelona, and link up well with Leo Messi.

The Brazilian is set to be deployed on the left of Barcelona's front three along with Messi and Pedro for next season after arriving from Santos.

“It is true that we faced him in the Club World Cup [in December 2011] and although we won that final, he showed he is a striker that you cannot take your eye off of for a moment,” Pique told Mundo Deportivo.

“He is technical, fast, has a lot of ways to trouble a defence, I believe his is a very good signing.

“Surely he will fit well with Messi, they will understand each other. The best players are always able to work together and they will."
