Rosell defends Messi over tax charges
Sandro Rosell, Barcelona's president, has insisted that Leo Messi and his father Jorge are innocent of the charges that they evaded tax in recent years.
The Messis have been accused by a Spanish prosecutor of evading paying millions of pounds in tax.
“We are very calm and have no doubt of Leo’s complete innocence in this whole case. I have called Argentina to tell him that we are with him and have full confidence in his innocence," Rosell told a press conference.
