Ronaldo misses English football but denies transfer link

Cristiano Ronaldo has denied that he is going to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United, but admits he misses life at the English champions.

Ronaldo's future has been the subject of debate for some time with the player having not extended his Real Madrid deal, which runs out in two years' time.

"I miss English football," he said. "For me, it was [some] of the best years in my career when I was there in Manchester United. Everyone knows that it is a club that is still in my heart and I really, really miss. But now my life is in Spain. I am enjoying playing there, too."

"Part of my life is there, but in the future we never know. I am really, really happy in the Spanish league."
