Ronaldo staying at Real

Cristiano Ronaldo has said he is staying at Real Madrid and insisted that he is happy at the club.

The Portuguese, who has been linked with a move away this summer, has confirmed he will be at Real next season at least, rather than leaving.

“This is not the best day to talk about my future. I am here to enjoy the party and the night. As for my future, we will know soon,” Ronaldo told reporters at a gala in Monaco.

“The last 10 months have been seen a very difficult season and now I want to have fun with my girlfriend and my son. I am going to the beach, relaxing, playing tennis…

“Next season we have to better than last year. We must do everything possible to win the League and the Champions League with Real Madrid. I also hope to qualify for the World Cup with Portugal.

“Manchester United? They are a club that has been in my heart for a long time. Everyone knows the passion that I have for that club. But my future is at Real Madrid.”
